A study to test new e-cigarette products to determine the level of chemical toxicants that the body is exposed to following the use of Tobacco Heating Products compared to the levels of exposure in people who have continued to smoke conventional cigarettes, stopped smoking or who have never smoked.

This study consists of a Screening Visit (to confirm your eligibility to enter the study).

14 monthly outpatient visits (Smokers)

5 outpatient visits (Non Smokers) over a 12 month period

Post Study Follow-Up visit

 Smokers of 10-30 conventional cigarettes per day and must have smoked consistently for 5 years or more (No E-Cigarette users)

Volunteers will be randomised into four treatment groups:-

(a)  Continue smoking conventional cigarettes

(b)  Switch from conventional cigarettes to a new E-Cigarette product

(c)  Switch from conventional cigarettes to one of two new Tobacco Heating Products

(d)  Smokers who want to quit smoking

(e)  Never Smoked
